The public event Scenarios of the Future and Design is part of the ongoing teaching of the elective course of the same name in the design curriculum, and is thematically linked to last year's Year of Climate Care initiative.
The event joins discussions on climate change, its impact on communities and the role of designers' work in this context. The conceptual background is provided by the themes of the New European Bauhaus initiative; the project aims to support and develop activities of the creative and educational sectors to prevent the negative impacts of climate change in social, cultural and everyday life.
